DEPARTMENT INTRODUCTION
Administration Department
We support smooth internal operations across the company. Our scope spans General Affairs, Human Resource, Accounting, Public Relations, Legal, and IT systems administration—forming the operational backbone of the studio.
We also plan and run internal events such as mixers, New Year gathering to foster better communication and cohesion across teams.
Production Department
From development to delivery, the Production Department oversees the entire anime production pipeline, managing schedules, quality, budgets, and staffing.
Through agile scheduling and resource allocation, the team underpins each project and plays a vital role in determining the final quality of every title.
Planning Department
The Planning Department leads project planning and development, with a focus on pre-production. In addition to handling production committees, client relations, and licensing materials, the team partners closely with the Production Department on production management across the project lifecycle.
CG(Computer Graphics) Department
Using CG tools to create both 2D and 3D graphics, the CG Department covers modeling, rigging, animation, effects, and compositing.
By integrating CG with cel animation, the team aims to elevate the overall visual quality of our works.
Compositing (Photography) Project
“Photography” (compositing) is a late-stage process essential to final picture quality. The team composites materials from Drawing, Background Art, and 3DCG into a single finished cut.
By applying shot-specific techniques—such as effects and image processing—they push the quality one step further. As software evolves, the expressive range required of compositing continues to expand.
In addition to main-unit footage, the team also handles special effects on key visuals for merchandise, exhibition panels, and magazine features.
Our primary tools are After Effects and Photoshop, with Blender and Houdini used as needed to broaden expressive possibilities.
Art Department (Background Art)
Background Art visualizes the world where characters live, conveying the work’s atmosphere and tone. We handle backgrounds ranging from architecture and natural scenery to interiors, outer space, and entirely imaginary worlds, primarily using Photoshop.
Because the role involves finishing a high volume of paintings within set timelines, we emphasize both speed and quality to deliver richly realized worlds.
Digital Drawing Division
The Digital Drawing Division serves as a training ground from in-between to in-between checking, building earning capability while teaching the fundamentals of animation.
In-between and in-between check act as the “line-art finishers,” connecting drawings and exerting a decisive influence on the final quality of a work.
Our studio has formed one of Japan’s most distinctive teams in this area, effectively combining automated and hand-assigned in-betweens using the animation software “CACANi.”
