Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy is an English translation of the original Japanese policy. It is provided for convenience only. The original Japanese version governs, and in the event of any inconsistency or ambiguity, the Japanese version shall prevail. This Policy is formulated pursuant to, and shall be interpreted under, the laws of Japan.
David Production Inc. recognizes that protecting personal information in the course of its business activities is a critical responsibility. In order to earn the trust of data subjects and society at large, the Company hereby establishes the following Personal Information Protection Policy and will endeavor to safeguard personal information.
1. Specification of Purposes of Use and Proper Acquisition
When collecting personal information, the Company will specify the purposes of use, collect only information necessary for such purposes, notify or publicly announce the purposes of use, and use the information solely within that scope. The Company will also strive to keep the personal information it acquires accurate and up-to-date.
2. Restrictions on Provision or Disclosure to Third Parties
The Company will not provide or disclose collected personal information to any third party, except in the following cases:
*Where the prior consent of the data subject has been obtained;
*Where such provision is made pursuant to the methods permitted under the Act on the Protection of Personal Information of Japan, including Article 23, paragraph 2 (opt-out) or paragraph 3 (joint use); or
Where provision or disclosure is required in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
3. Supervision and Awareness-Raising for Personnel and Service Providers
The Company will ensure that all persons involved in the Company’s operations are made aware of the proper handling of personal information and will exercise necessary supervision and conduct awareness-raising activities with respect to employees and contractors.
4. Security Control Measures
The Company will establish robust protective frameworks and endeavor to implement appropriate security measures to prevent any leakage, loss, or damage of personal information.
5. Requests from Data Subjects and Handling of Complaints
The Company will respond in good faith to requests from data subjects concerning disclosure, correction, and other actions relating to their personal information, as well as to complaints.
