After getting into serious trouble on a strong junior high school volleyball team in Tokyo , Haijima Kousei
moves to his mother's hometown of Fukui, where he spent his childhood, and reunites with his childhood friend Kuroba Yuujin .

Kuroba, who has outstanding physical abilities but is weak under pressure, and Haijima, whose overwhelming passion and talent for volleyball always
causes friction with those around him, grow into an ace duo, but they clash at the final prefectural tournament of their junior high school years, and the two go on to attend the local Seiin High School, estranged from each other.

Waiting for them on the boys' volleyball team are the third-year duo of 163cm tall, passionate captain Oda and his brilliant, sharp-tongued vice-captain Aoki , as well as second-year students including Kakino, who always wears long sleeves and long pants due to his sun allergy, and Okuma ,
a volleyball beginner .

Set in Fukui, surrounded by mountains and blue skies, this is a passionate youth story about a weak boys' volleyball team aiming to compete at the national level!
