David Production is a full scale Japanese animation studio founded in 2007. Our people have more than 10 years’ experience in animation production. David Production’s prime asset is its unbeatable network of Japanese animators, who excel in the 2D Boys Action Animation and Teenage Young Adult Animation genre. David Production can also work on international projects in English and we have the nuts & bolts knowledge / experience in international co-production and work-for-hire animation projects. David Production is Japanese animation studio with communication skills to overcome international production communication issues.

We are not one of the largest studios, but we love the challenge of creating a good animation with great storytelling & characters that attract the global audience. We love the story of “David and Goliath” where David overcame his challenges by his creative acumen.
Also, David is the acronym of “Design Audio & Visual Illusion Dynamics.” We believe that this signifies our value where we create animation with impact.

Taito Okiura: Co-founder, President and CEO

Taito handles business development for the studio & also works as a producer. He was a producer of “Afro Samurai 1st Season” and “Witchblade Anime” and has extensive experience on international co-production projects. Prior to his anime career, Taito worked in media and advertising at Dentsu more than 10 years. Taito earned his MBA at UCLA Anderson School of Business and speaks English fluently.

Koji Kajita: Co-founder, COO and Head of Production

Koji has more than 10 years’ experience in animation production and he controls nuts & bolts of daily animation production at David Production. He is an ex-president of Studio Gonzo where he produced features such as “Brave Story” and “Afro Samurai 1st Season” and numerous television animation series such as “Transformer Galaxy Force.”
